3 Way to Backup your Facebook

What if one day your Facebook account accidentally deleted or banned  for some reason or another? What if a new social network that pass, and got shut down Facebook? What if you decide to close your account from Facebook, but you will not lose any data you put there? These scenarios may be unlikely, but they are indeed possible.

Everything you put on Facebook reside there. All status updates, links, photos, notes – everything. Thus, just as it is good practice to back up your hard disk, it is also good practice to have a plan ready to Facebook backup in case something bad goes down. Here are three free tools you can check to ensure that their data is safe.

1. Backup your Facebook to hard disk

Fancy recreate Facebook on your laptop?  ArchiveFacebook is a Firefox addon that lets you save the contents of Facebook directly to your hard drive and after that you can burn it on a dvd-r and view them the same way they currently view them on Facebook. It takes some time to process, however, because it will try to make a backup whenever full – but still very broad and very useful.

2. Backup Facebook photo albums

Whether you’re trying to back up his own albums, or trying to easily grab a friend’s album for offline viewing, FacePAD is a Firefox addon that lets you download entire albums from Facebook with a click of a button. You can also do it for fan pages and pages of events.

3. Backup Facebook to the cloud

Backupify service is an amazing backup multiple services – Facebook is one of them. Using Facebook Connect, Backupify regularly to keep all your photos, friend lists, events, links, notes, and states of the cloud. The free version of Backupify can handle up to 2 GB of storage.
