450,000 iPads Sold In The First Week

Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced this morning in the iPhone OS 4.0 presentation ceremony, some of the recent statistics on its new, much-talked IPAD. According to Jobs iPads 450,000 have been sold over and 350,000 of them were sold on the day of release alone. Apple announced that it had sold 300,000 units on launch day, but has been otherwise this morning. 600,000 iBooks have been sold so far with 250,000 sold in the first day.
Steve Jobs also gave some statistics about Apple devices using the iPhone OS and are much improved compared with IPAD to say the least. According to Apple, has sold 50 million iPhones, 35 million iPod touch that sums up a huge 85million devices running on the iPhone OS. In addition, 4 billion of applications have been downloaded from the App Store which has a total of 185,000 applications.
