Clean Startup as its name suggests is a free computer desking program that can manage the programs that start automatically when you start the PC. Every time you turn on your computer, you will notice that many of the programs start automatically. While some may be useful, some may be useless may be taking the system resources, while delaying the start time. Clean Startup presents a very simple interface that helps you manage which programs to add to your startup list.

When you run the program, you are presented a list of programs that are added to your startup list. Double-click an item and you will get more information, such as the location of the program, file name, description etc. may also pause the program to run on windows startup here or you can also start a program previously arrested. If you are unsure about a specific program, you can start a search directly on Google for that directly from this screen. This is very useful if a virus or other malware was added to the startup list. The program also can monitor your startup programs for any changes and you can change the monitoring frequency. It also has an option to “Restore” so that you can always go back when something goes wrong.
